Tutor Change & Additional Demo Session Policy

At Prime Trivium, tutor changes are rare.

Our tutors undergo a rigorous multi-stage screening and selection process before joining our faculty. In addition to subject-matter expertise, tutors are evaluated on communication skills, professionalism, teaching ability, classroom management, and student engagement. Selected tutors continue to participate in regular training, quality reviews, professional development programs, and ongoing academic mentoring throughout their tenure with Prime Trivium.

For this reason, we place significant confidence in the quality of our teaching team and in the tutor assignments recommended by our Academic Operations and Quality Assurance teams.

Parents and students are encouraged to attend the complimentary demo session and discuss any concerns before enrollment. Once a tutor has been assigned, Prime Trivium generally expects students and tutors to work together consistently, as meaningful academic progress often requires time, continuity, and mutual commitment.

Requests for a change of tutor will be considered only where there is a genuine and reasonable concern relating to matters such as subject expertise, teaching effectiveness, communication, professionalism, punctuality, scheduling compatibility, or other material academic concerns. Personal preferences alone may not be sufficient grounds for a tutor reassignment.

All tutor change requests are subject to review and approval by Prime Trivium’s Internal Quality Assurance Team. The Quality Assurance Team may review classroom records, feedback from the student, parent, and tutor, attendance history, and other relevant information before making a determination.

Where the Quality Assurance Team determines that a tutor reassignment is appropriate, the following additional complimentary demo opportunities may be provided:

  • Enrollments of 24, 36, or 48 classes may be offered up to two additional demo sessions with alternative tutors.
  • Enrollments of 72 or 96 classes may be offered up to three additional demo sessions with alternative tutors.

The final decision regarding tutor reassignment shall rest with Prime Trivium’s Academic Operations and Quality Assurance Team.

Our objective is not merely to assign tutors, but to build long-term academic partnerships that help students achieve meaningful and measurable educational outcomes.
